Join Gold Fields as a Planning Mining Engineer and help shape the future of the Windfall Project in northern Québec. This role emphasizes planning, safety, and teamwork in a dynamic mining setting.
You will report to the Planning Coordinator and assist in vital technical operational tasks. Your responsibilities will include overseeing technician work, leading safety initiatives, and contributing to project feasibility studies. This hands-on role comes with an attractive work schedule of 15 days on, 13 days off, plus housing and travel expenses covered.
Key Responsibilities:
• Guide safety protocols for workers and contractors
• Supervise and mentor technicians and engineering interns
• Compile daily and monthly progress reports
• Collaborate on engineering project phases and planning
