Post-16 Learning Support Assistant – SEND (Newcastle)


Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Contract: Full-time
Start: Immediate
Pay: £–£105 per day (PAYE)

A post-16 SEND provision is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to help young people prepare for adulthood.

What you’ll be doing:



  • Supporting learners with independence and life skills


  • Assisting with vocational and community-based learning


  • Encouraging communication and confidence


  • Working closely with teaching and pastoral staff

  • Experience supporting young people with SEND


  • A patient, encouraging approach


  • Interest in post-16 or transition support


  • Strong communication skills
