Job Description

Key Qualifications

  • Must have a strong understanding of PostgreSQL (version 14 and above) on Linux environments
  • Good knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture, MVCC, WAL, and background processes
  • Experience in installing, configuring, upgrading, and patching PostgreSQL databases
  • Hands‑on experience with high availability solutions such as Patroni and EDB Failover Manager (EFM)
  • Good understanding of PostgreSQL streaming replication and distributed replication concepts
  • Experience in managing large‑scale OLTP production databases
  • Strong experience in backup and recovery using tools like Barman, pg_basebackup, pgbackrest, and WAL archiving, including Point‑In‑Time Recovery (PITR)
  • Good knowledge of PostgreSQL partitioning and indexing strategies
