Job Description
YPlasma is a deep tech spin off from INTA, Spain's national aerospace agency. We build solid state, fanless cooling based on Dielectric Barrier Discharge (DBD) plasma actuators: flexible films, roughly 200 microns thick, that move air silently and on demand using ionic wind, at a fraction of the energy a conventional fan needs and with zero moving parts.
Our wedge market is thermal management for Edge AI. We focus on the edge, not the data center: the devices people hold and deploy in the field, where space, noise, dust, and battery budgets leave no room for a bigger fan. Our actuators target compute heavy edge hardware across computing, telecom, automotive, and electronics, with traction especially in the United States, Europe, Taiwan, and Japan. Electronics cooling is our main focus, but the same actuator platform, driven with different waveforms, also reaches into ice protection and surface heating, aerodynamic flow control, and other thermal and fluidic problems that we activel...
