Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys to assess the condition of historic buildings and structures
• Develop restoration plans including cost estimates and timelines
• Prepare reports and proposals for clients or funding agencies
• Oversee the restoration process to ensure adherence to plans and standards
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors and other professionals involved in the restoration process
• Research architectural history and techniques relevant to each project
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience in preservation architecture
• Strong knowledge of architectural history and techniques related to preservation
• Excellent project management skills
