Job Description
A Kentucky-based manufacturer is seeking a Process Engineer to improve throughput, quality, and cost across key production lines. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys data-driven problem solving and hands-on work on the shop floor.
Primary Duties
- Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to reduce scrap, downtime, and cycle time.
- Develop and optimize standard work, work instructions, and process parameters.
- Lead trials, capability studies, and DOE to validate process improvements.
- Support new product introductions, including process layout, equipment selection, and run-at-rate activities.
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and operations on root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
- Track KPIs (OEE, yield, throughput) and report progress on continuous improvement projects.
