Procurement / Purchasing Manager (Construction)

Key Responsibilities
1. Procurement Planning Develop procurement plans based on project schedules, budgets, and material requirements.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and quantity surveyors to identify procurement needs.
Forecast material and equipment requirements for multiple construction projects.
2. Supplier & Subcontractor Management Source, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
Conduct supplier pre-qualification and performance evaluation.
Maintain an approved vendor list for construction materials and services.
3. Purchasing & Contract Negotiation Request quotations and analyze supplier bids for price, quality, and delivery timelines.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
Issue purchase orders and ensure proper documentation.
