The Procurement Technician is responsible for supporting the Procurement and Sales Department in various tasks.
Role and Responsibilities
- Follow up on open orders and maintain relevant purchasing data in LN ERP.
- Work with Excel for push-pulls for customer requests and processing in LN.
- Create and process purchase orders related to cost & production.
- Support cost related purchase order requests.
- Manage and procure office supplies.
- Generate cost savings by negotiating with suppliers or redirecting purchases to preferred suppliers for requisitions.
- Prepare RFQs, offer analysis, negotiate prices and commercial conditions with suppliers with all documentation needed according to CMP’s purchasing policy.
- Review open order reports with suppliers on a frequent basis, stocking levels, to ensure timely deliveries with proper follow up.
