What you will be doing:

• Support the product design elements of new product development within the APQP process
• Design support for the continuous improvement of current products.
• Design resource during the ECR process
• Support design innovation projects.

Tasks (including appropriate documentation) that may be required within new product design, continuous improvement and innovation projects:

• Vehicle and/or part data procurement
• Participate in concept design
• System and component design including reviews
• Procure and apply all relevant specifications
• 3D CAD models and drawing creation/revision (NX8, CATIA5)
• Verification and/or validation of design through tolerance analysis, engineering calculations, prototypes, fit-ups, DVP&R management, product ...
