Product Engineer

A climate tech startup we collaborate with at Joppy is looking to hire a/an Product Engineer to lead the development of a key operational domain in a growing platform. This is a strategic role requiring both deep engineering expertise and close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to design, build, and scale robust solutions.

• Work closely with operational teams (Growth, Environment, Sales) to understand workflows, data, and user experience, identifying pain points before proposing solutions
• Diagnose the root causes of operational issues, tracing problems to their source in data models, product flows, or system architecture, and resolve them at the core
• Design and build platform features, backend services, and internal interfaces to solve problems structurally, avoiding quick workarounds
• Prioritize thoughtful data modeling; treat schema decisions as foundational
