Production Operator, 2nd shift

Overview

Production Operator, 2nd shift ($1.00 shift differential)

Operate injection molding machines following instructions and written requirements. Collect parts, inspect, separate and package as required per requirements. Separate and document known defective parts on required forms. Inform Supervisor or Technician when defects exceed allowable amounts.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and guidelines. Report any unsafe conditions or practices.
• Maintain a clean work area throughout the shift.
• Report to assigned machine on time. Always take breaks and lunch at appropriate times as instructed, returning to work area promptly.
• Work with shift production leads as required.
• At start of shift read, understand, and ask questions regarding training to work instructions. If unsure how to proceed, escalate to shift supervisor.
