Production Planner

Overview

The production planner coordinates the entire manufacturing chain to balance demand and resources, managing inventory, deadlines, and procurement to ensure efficient and timely production using the ERP system. Main tasks include creating schedules, monitoring inventory, coordinating internal departments, managing human and material resources, and analyzing production variances to optimize efficiency.

Role And Responsibilities

• Coordinate and organize the production line to meet customer demand.
• Define production schedules to optimize resources (staff, machines) and deadlines.
• Ensure the availability of necessary materials.
• Manage inventory and deadline constraints.
• Time frame: Mainly short and medium term (daily, weekly).
• Focus: Production efficiency, costs, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Planning: Develop and monitor the master production schedule (MPS) to set production targets.
