Job Summary

The Production Scheduler manages and supports all production related activities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Sales, Purchasing, Production and Dispatch to generate and distribute daily production schedules to achieve delivery commitments.
  • Utilize ERP system capabilities for production scheduling. Create and verify Bills‑of‑Materials for standard and custom products.
  • Communicate production lead times to all levels of the organization.
  • Schedule all stock and custom products based on form capacity, manpower availability and min/max inventory levels.
  • Review Min/Max inventory levels and adjust based on sales history.
  • Coordinate the movement of stock inventory to the appropriate plant location or distribution center with Dispatch.
