Role Overview

Our organization is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Component Engineering (CE) Team. This role focuses on Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) for various production programs. The position involves working with industry experts on both legacy and future aerospace technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply engineering knowledge of electrical and electronic components to evaluate alternate replacements for obsolete parts.
  • Conduct proactive obsolescence forecasting and monitoring using component surveillance tools and predictive systems.
  • Develop obsolescence mitigation possibilities and create business case analyses to support resolution options.
