Job Description
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric Certificate.
- Bachelors Degree or National Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- GCC Mines and Works Certificate (Non-Negotiable).
- Minimum 10 years engineering experience within the mining industry.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a senior engineering or project management role.
- Proven experience managing mining projects from concept to completion.
- Strong knowledge of Mine Health and Safety Act regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience within underground mining operations.
- Strong budgeting, cost control, and contractor management experience.
- Project Management qualification advantageous.
- Experience with shutdowns, plant optimisation, and infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of mining equipment, maintenance strategies, and engineering best practices.
