Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepares purchase orders based on approved purchase request and canvas.
  • Monitor completeness of delivery as against purchase order (PO) and coordinate with supplier and accounting on any variance.
  • Monitors status of local materials, through periodic communication with the suppliers, brokers, banks and shipping lines. Maintains excellent relationship with suppliers.
  • Keeps all pertinent purchasing records and documents

Qualifications

  • College graduate of any business course
  • At least 1 year of experience in purchasing with at least 1 year in importation and exportation of goods
  • Background in FMCG and Manufacturing an advantage
  • Good communication skills
  • Computer literate
  • Flexible, adaptable and has organizational skills
  • Can start immediately
