QA Automation Engineer – Frontend (Playwright, GCP)

1. Role Overview The Bank is seeking a QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in frontend test execution using Playwright to support delivery of cloud-native applications hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The resource will be responsible for building and executing automated UI test frameworks, integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring high-quality, stable releases within an Agile delivery model.

2. Key Responsibilities

Design and develop frontend automation scripts using Playwright

Build and maintain scalable, reusable automation frameworks

Execute end-to-end, regression, and smoke test suites

Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (GCP Cloud Build or equivalent)

Perform cross-browser testing (Chromium, WebKit, Firefox)

Validate UI workflows and responsive design behavior
