CN is seeking a dedicated Rail Track Maintainer to perform inspections and maintenance of train rails, ties, and switches. In this position, you will confront elements and ensure safety while carrying out heavy physical tasks. Key skills include operating heavy machinery and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and repair CN’s train rails and ties
• Operate hand tools and maintain equipment
• Remove defective materials and install replacements
• Ensure track alignments are accurate and safe
• Clear debris from railroad right-of-way
Requirements:
• Experience in similar outdoor conditions
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Able to lift up to 70 pounds
• Excellent teamwork skills
