Join our group homes in Richmond, BC, as a Recreational Program Worker this summer. You'll assist with daily living and facilitate engaging recreational activities.
This full-time, temporary position runs from May 15, 2026, through August 31, 2026. You'll work Monday to Friday, contributing 37.5 hours weekly, with adaptable shifts based on needs. Your impact will extend to community participation and enhancing residents' everyday experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and oversee recreational programming
• Support individuals with personal care tasks
• Represent the Association at local community events
• Adjust to varying shift schedules as required
• Work effectively with individuals with challenging behaviours
Requirements:
• Minimum one year of experience with developmental disabilities
• Knowledge of behaviour management techniques
• Criminal Record and Medical Clearances required
• First Aid/CPR certification
