Registered Practical Nurse to work in our Acute Medicine Unit, 12 West

Employment Status : Permanent Full-time

Reporting Relationship : Manager, 12 E/W

Hourly Rate : $38.893 - $39.458

Union Group : NOWU

Hours of work : Rotating shifts, 8 or 12 hours, days/evenings/nights/weekends

Location : Humber River Health – Hennick Humber Hospital

Responsibilities:

• RPN responsibilities for general medicine, geriatric, ALC and palliative inpatients.
• Coordination of care within an interprofessional team
• Complete electronic Meditech 6.0 documentation system
• Participation in unit based projects or hospital committees as required
• Mentorship for new hires and pre-grad RPN nursing students
