RESEARCH + DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER- PLASTICS
CMB Recruitment is working with a global client based North Down that is seeking a Research + Development Engineer to join their team and assist with the development of new and existing products. Reporting to the Head of R+D this is an important role in shaping the future direction of the product range. Given the sector in which our client operates we are ideally seeking someone with experience of plastics, polymers or composites.
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Head of R+D the role entails:
- Carry out performance testing on new and existing products by following standard operating procedures
- Carry out all required work to progress and complete research and development projects, both internally and externally
- Develop handover procedures for innovation products going into production, and revise existing standard operating procedures as and when required
