Safety Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking a Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team in Burnaby, BC, Canada. This role works for our parent company RIC Power Corp. and is crucial in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, promoting a culture of health and safety, and implementing 5S within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental health and safety practices, particularly within the manufacturing sector, and will be responsible for helping the HSE manager to implement safety programs, conduct training, and maintain compliance with OHS and the 5S program.

You will work closely with management and employees to implement, maintain, and continuously improve safety programs in compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations, environmental regulations, BC Occupational Health & Safety legislation, and facility safety standards.
