Saw Operator

Salary: £30,000-£32,000 depending on experience.

Hours: Monday to Friday, day shift.

Location: Northampton.

The role involves operating band saws in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include following safety protocols, carrying out quality checks, and maintaining a clean working area.

Requirements

  • Experience operating a Band Saw
  • Counter Balance Licence (preferred)
  • Forklift/Reach Truck Licence (ideally)
  • LOLER certification would be advantageous
  • Ability to follow safety protocols
  • Ability to follow instructions and work with high levels of attention to detail
  • Carry out quality checks
  • Maintain working area at a high level of housekeeping
  • Access to own car for training location
