About the Role : The Section Manager – Goods Receiving is responsible for overseeing the receipt, inspection, and documentation of all incoming goods in the retail store. This role ensures accuracy in deliveries, compliance with company standards, and smooth coordination between suppliers, warehouse, and store operations.
Responsibilities :
Receiving Operations
- Supervise daily receiving activities, including unloading, inspection, and verification of deliveries.
- Ensure accuracy of quantities, product specifications, and documentation against purchase orders.
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to resolve discrepancies or delays.
Inventory & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of received goods, including invoices, delivery receipts, and system entries.
- Ensure timely updating of inventory systems to reflect received stock.
