SEN Support Assistant (Makaton)

Full -Time | Term Time

Communication is everything in this role.

We’re looking for a Makaton-trained SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with autism and complex learning needs .

Responsibilities:

• Use Makaton to support understanding and expression
• Build trust and consistent routines
• Support behaviour and emotional regulation

Ideal candidate:

• Makaton trained or experienced
• SEN background preferred
• Calm, resilient, and supportive

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
