Sen Teaching Assistant

Overview

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in schools across Merton . This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the learning and development of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) .

Key Responsibilities

• Provide tailored 1:1 and group support for pupils with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language needs.
• Assist teachers in adapting lessons and classroom resources to meet diverse learning needs.
• Encourage and support positive behaviour, participation, and independence.
• Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.
• Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience supporting children with SEN in schools or similar settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
