SEND Teaching Assistant

We are recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a school in Wolverhampton at a 3-form entry, “GOOD” Ofsted-rated Primary School. This Teaching Assistant role will involve working on a 1:1 basis with a Year 2 child with global developmental delay and occasional challenging behaviour.

Our client is looking for a candidate with experience supporting children with SEND needs. This role will start in September 2026 and continue until December 2027. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.

Required Skills and Experience

• Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
• Good knowledge and experience of working with SEND
• Experience working in Nurseries or Primary Schools as a Teaching Assistant or LSA
• A DBS on the Update Service or issued within the last 12 months
• A minimum of 2 excellent references
• Recent UK school experience
