Senior Analytics Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking an Analytics Engineer – Supply & Trading to join a major power generation company in
Calgary, Alberta, on a 12 month contract, 3-5 days a week on site
. This highly embedded role supports the Supply & Trading (S&T) organization by expanding, defining, and delivering analytics that enable effective contractual and trading decision‑making.

This role serves as a critical bridge between business-facing analytics and core data engineering, transforming complex, high‑volume transactional trading data into governed, scalable data models and analytical products that align with Capital Power's Enterprise Oversight Framework (EOF) — the company's foundational enterprise reporting platform. The successful candidate will work closely with trading and commercial stakeholders, ensuring analytical solutions are accurate, traceable, and optimized for decision support.
