Please note This opportunity is not for a standard Java/Kotlin Front-end Android developer but someone who develops at the Android Firmware level with the below technical proficiencies:

• C/C++
• Git
• If Android not 100%, if you have strong C, we can discuss

Strong skills in using AI would be a definite advantage.

Please note that this is a Cape Town based role .

Job Purpose:

We are working with our client, an international 5G Connectivity Solutions start-up, sourcing for a Senior Android Firmware Developer.

Specifically, our client requires a low‑level Android Firmware engineer who can develop in C/C++.

The candidate must have experience in development of Android OS, drivers, and customisations for GMS certifications.
