Payments Team – Overview

Proton's Payments team focuses on enabling revenue generation across the ecosystem by integrating new payment methods and building client libraries. The team has a broad impact across all Proton products and works closely with the Account Team, Finance team, and Business Units to align pricing and promotions with user expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Build features in all Proton products.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams across the company.
• Design scalable software architectures following best practices.
• Optimize user experience and design.
• Develop and maintain back‑end services in PHP/Symfony and collaborate on front‑end (React), mobile (Kotlin/Swift), and shared Rust code.
