About the project

OCIO is modernizing two integrated legacy systems:

  • Motor Registration Division (MRD)
    system (driver licensing, vehicle registration, NSC, IRP, compliance, etc.)
  • Ticket Management System (TMS)
    (ticketable offences), integrated with MRD

The modernization objective includes:

  • Moving mainframe capabilities to supportable technology
  • Improving user access/self-service
  • Planning and supporting
    ETL from legacy mainframe to a cloud repository in Microsoft Azure
  • Modernizing interfaces/data exchanges
