Senior Data Governance Engineer

JOB SUMMARY This role is for a Senior Data Governance Engineer responsible for designing and implementing scalable data governance frameworks on cloud-based data platforms. The engineer will operationalize and automate data pipelines, develop and maintain metadata management solutions, and enforce data quality controls. Key responsibilities include advancing data lineage, implementing access controls and privacy measures, optimizing data processing, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The role involves collaborating with cross‑functional teams within an Agile/Scrum environment and supporting production release cycles. A significant aspect of the role involves working with Data Stewards to manage the data quality lifecycle.
