Responsibility

As a Staff Engineer in Customer Quality Engineering, you are responsible as Problem‑Solving Manager (PSM) for the assigned module/area of responsibility. Moderate the 8D investigation and corrective/preventive actions (CA/PA), as well as CA/PA follow‑up until closure with validation for sustainability/effectiveness of actions.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Contact window for Customer Quality & Service (CQS) team for all queries pertaining to problem solving related to quality concern
  • Form and provide support to the 8D team with the appropriate problem‑solving methodology and tools to assure systematic approach
  • Drive event evaluation and effective containment action based on verification results and review based on root cause findings
  • Define / support risk assessment from customer complaint / quality issue whenever necessary
