Senior Engineer - Mainframe (COBOL)

We’re looking for a Senior Mainframe Developer with deep COBOL expertise to help design, enhance, and modernise our high-volume, business-critical applications.

What you’ll be doing

• Design, develop, and support COBOL and CAP COBOL applications on z/OS , supporting large-scale, high-volume transaction processing
• Maintain and enhance IMS online and batch systems , ensuring high availability, performance, and resilience
• Build and support data processing solutions using DB2, IMS DB, and sequential file structures
• Act as a subject matter expert in mainframe development, helping define coding standards, best practices, and modernisation approaches
