Senior engineer

Essence of the job: The Senior Engineer is responsible for providing engineering leadership for their respective project(s) through taking the lead on the strategy for setting out and onsite control. The Senior Engineer is the primary point of reference for QA, record keeping and production, ensuring the establishment and maintenance of quality procedures and requirements. Setting out experience (the process of transferring design data from drawings and coordinates onto the ground so the construction team knows where to build ) so the construction team knows where to build. If it’s wrong, everything that follows is wrong—so this is a big responsibility. Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Science Honours / Bachelor of Technology Civil / QS or Similar 4year degree non-negotiable on Critical Skills Permit – NQF8.
