What you’ll do

The 24x7 Real-Time Operations Control Room function has evolved into two distinct streams: 1. Generation and Transmission (Grid), and 2. Distribution. This role supports the Generation and Transmission (Grid) stream.

Reporting to the Manager, Real-Time Operations, T&D System Operations, the Senior Manager provides strong people leadership, operational expertise, and technical insight to support the safe, reliable, and efficient 24/7 operation of BC Hydro’s electricity grid. The role leads a team of operations professionals responsible for real-time grid operations in a fast(1)paced, high-consequence environment.
