**Overview**
GovCIO is currently hiring for Network Engineer, Data Center operations for our NIH-CIT proposal. This position is located in Bethesda, MD and is a remote/hybrid position.
**Responsibilities**
The role’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Support the Operations Section Manager with personnel administration, strategic planning, and staff planning. The Datacenter Operations Senior Engineer will work alongside the Service Delivery Team, Architecture Team, and Security Team to support their objectives
+ Mentor network operations engineers in the practical application of current/emergent technologies, agile IT, ITIL and continuous improvement practices and techniques
+ Participate in shift lead duties to serve as “queue managers” to ensure each escalated issue is efficiently assigned, actively being worked by expediting resolution and fulfillment to meet SLAs
