Responsibilities
- Certification of chargers in accordance with Def Stan 00-101
- Review ammunition routings in ports and at sea
- Support the WOME product family team through regular meetings
- Work with industry to ensure the ship‑class explosives safety report is completed
- Analyze ammunition safety information
- Assess ammunition handling equipment
- Support munition operability statements
Qualifications
- Degree in computer science, electrical, mechanical or chemical engineering; B.Sc. in applied science, naval architecture; or combined experience in combat systems engineering
- Five to eight years of professional experience
- Proven leadership skills
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritize competing demands
- Ability to obtain a NATO Secret security clearance
