Responsibilities

  • Certification of chargers in accordance with Def Stan 00-101
  • Review ammunition routings in ports and at sea
  • Support the WOME product family team through regular meetings
  • Work with industry to ensure the ship‑class explosives safety report is completed
  • Analyze ammunition safety information
  • Assess ammunition handling equipment
  • Support munition operability statements

Qualifications

  • Degree in computer science, electrical, mechanical or chemical engineering; B.Sc. in applied science, naval architecture; or combined experience in combat systems engineering
  • Five to eight years of professional experience
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands
  • Ability to obtain a NATO Secret security clearance
  • Deep understanding of Royal Canadian Navy...
