Senior TypeScript / Backend Engineer (Contract) — Prisma/Postgres
Rate: $40–$55/hr
Hours: 10–25 hrs/week (steady)
Duration: 3–6 months (likely extend)
Remote: Yes (2–4 hours overlap with US time preferred)
We're hiring a senior engineer to help build a deterministic backend platform for AI companions using (App Router), TypeScript, Prisma, and Postgres.
This is backend/platform engineering — not prompt engineering or AI agent experimentation.
Core Work (Initial Project)
Platform MVP-0 + upstream evidence systems, including:
request validation and deterministic gating
permission / allowance checks (pre-model)
structured audit logging (traceable decisions)
upstream evidence attachment (geography, identification signals, subject-matter signals)
Prisma/Postgres integration where needed
Required Skills
