Software Asset Specialist

Role Summary

We are recruiting a Software Asset Specialist to own end-to-end software license management — discovery, entitlement reconciliation, optimisation, and audit readiness for enterprise software estates.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the SAM tool (Flexera, ServiceNow SAM Pro, Snow, USU) for discovery + reconciliation.
• Maintain entitlement records: contracts, true-ups, true-downs, renewals.
• Run effective-license-position (ELP) cycles for major vendors (Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, Adobe).
• Identify optimisation opportunities (right-sizing, harvesting, edition changes).
• Prepare for and respond to publisher audits.
• Liaise with procurement, finance, and IT operations on license events.
• Maintain documentation and SAM playbooks.
