Software Engineer (Insurance)

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain system modules based on approved designs
• Perform unit testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and deployment
• Document source code, processes, and system changes
• Provide production support and troubleshoot application or system issues
• Monitor system alerts and recommend temporary or permanent fixes
• Follow escalation procedures and meet agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Submit status, incident, and performance reports on time

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field
• At least 2–4 years of experience in software development or application support
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, C#, .NET, Python)
• Experience with databases and basic system or application integration
