Overview

Position overview: The Solutions Architect provides infrastructure and application solutioning support to IT strategic projects monitored by Cluster's IT Strategic Plan. This position is pivotal in ensuring the alignment of IT solutions with the strategic objectives of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Apply highly developed specialist knowledge and skills to analyse the functionality and constraints of recommended architecture solutions across multiple systems, platforms and applications.
• Manage high level design options and apply architectural principles to ensure that the most appropriate design and cost are made.
• Ensure that technical standards, including software coding standards, tools and platform standards, comply with policy.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure product-market fit.
• Adopt an analytical approach in developing innovative solutions to meet business requirements.
