Job Description – Material Planner 

Position Summary

The Material Planner is responsible for ensuring uninterrupted material availability to support production schedules while optimizing inventory levels. This role involves demand analysis, material requirement planning (MRP), inventory management, excess and obsolete inventory control, and cross-functional coordination with procurement, production, program management, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

Material Planning & Inventory Management

• Conduct daily reviews with the Purchasing team to ensure Clear-to-Build (CTB) status aligns with customer commitments and demand requirements.
  
• Run and manage Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes to ensure timely procurement of materials.
  
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimal stock to prevent shortages and excess inventory.
