Sr Python Backend

We’re looking for a Python backend developer to join a U.S. startup building a social app.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPI.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Integrate with third‑party services and internal systems.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA to deliver features end‑to‑end.
• Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of backend services.
• Participate in code reviews and help maintain high code quality standards.

Must Have Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in backend development with Python.
• Solid hands‑on experience with FastAPI.
• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
• Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
