Sr. Systems Engineer, Managed Operations

AWS has launched the European Sovereign Cloud (ESC), and we are seeking senior systems engineers experienced in automation and operations. In the Managed Operations team you will build and lead operations and development teams dedicated to delivering high‑availability AWS services for EU customers.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the smooth operation of ESC, collaborating with global AWS teams and influencing AWS service evolution. Enhance day‑to‑day operations and improve availability, reliability, latency, performance, and efficiency of ESC. Participate in on‑call rotations to resolve incidents occurring out of hours.

Eligibility Requirements

• National of an EU member state
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Relocation support will be provided for successful applicants within the EU
