Join the Alberta Energy Regulator as a Statement of Concern Analyst in Calgary or Edmonton. Engage with stakeholders and manage SOC submissions to support informed regulatory decisions.
This role involves analyzing and processing Statements of Concern (SOC) within the Regulatory Applications branch. You’ll work collaboratively with AER staff and stakeholders to produce recommendations on applications influenced by SOCs. This position requires strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office to ensure procedural fairness and consistency.
Key Responsibilities: • Analyze and create SOCAR documents independently • Collaborate to recommend SOC application dispositions • Maintain communication with stakeholders throughout the SOCAR process • Provide training and presentations on regulatory SOC requirements • Respond to queries regarding SOCAR processes
