What You Will Do

• Follow a highly regulated end‑to‑end sterilisation/decontamination process on surgical instruments used in operations in local NHS and private hospitals, ensuring they are safe for the next patient.
• Prepare sterile consumables (dressings, linen, surgical instruments, and equipment) through decontamination, inspection, assembly, and packing within predefined quality standards.
• Check, wash, lay up, and pack sets of theatre instruments to meet contract specifications while maintaining quality standards.
• Operate and monitor machines and equipment (washer/disinfectors, ultrasonic cleaners, and sterilisers) safely and effectively.
