Stores Person/ Forklift Driver

Scope of Role

To ensure that the stores area within the factory is run efficiently in order to provide a good reliable service to support the manufacturing process.

To ensure that all Health and Safety requirements are adhered to, liaising with others to ensure efficient goods receiving operation.

To ensure the yard remains tidy, pallets are broken up and the outside bins and oil drums are collected frequently.

Specific Accountabilities

Goods receiving stores – unloading of vehicles, checking material & relevant certification against our ISO quality criteria, booking in, identification and correct situation of material, advising Buyer of any discrepancies. Neat and accurate recording of information maintaining paper & electronic records and filing.

Managing storages areas – housekeeping, plays an active part in housekeeping. Maintain stocks in neat and organised manner.
