Job Description
Advatech Pacific performs design and analysis activities. These activities includes metallic and composite components using a range of tools, including finite element analysis (FEA) and hand calculation methods. Advatech has an available position for a Structural Engineer that will focus on the analysis of various aerospace structures and components.
Required Qualifications:
Experience with Nastran, ANSYS or other applicable analysis software programs. 3-15 years’ experience performing hand calculations and FEM analysis for loads, stability, stress, and fatigue analysis. Experience working as a lead with other engineers. Demonstrated ability to work independently. Analyzing components and structures. Recommending design changes when a component doesn't meet criteria. Generating project schedules and cost estimates. Experience as the primary interface with customers, contractors, and vendors.<...
