Structural Engineer

, AlbertaRoska DBO Inc. is currently seeking a contract Structural Engineer to work out of Ft. McMurray on a 4/3 schedule working 10 hour days. This is a camp position offering flights from Edmonton or Calgary. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and implement a structural inspection program for a brown field facility
  • Structures to be assessed include pipe racks, conveyors, slurry towers, overhead cranes, hoppers, etc.
  • Inspection program to be cost effective, data driven and optimized to mitigate risks associated with running plant conditions
  • Regularly communicate with members of the various Business Unit Teams to determine what engineering support they require. 
  • Understand the status of various projects which may affect structural components in the different plants
    • EDUCATION, TRAINING, CERTIFICATIONS
  • Engineering Degree is required, preferably Civil/Structural
